The republican legislation on dishwashers is to prevent the federal government from setting new energy restrictions on them which I assume, will increase the cost. It has nothing to do with how to load, etc. Her argument is for more government control on our lives.

The biggest problem in government is the strict lack of diversity and diverse voices. I'm not even talking about just in gender and race, those are obvious, but also in roles, jobs, philosophies, etc. You can have 100% women in the office but if none of them are mothers how can legislation that affects mothers be discussed? Or if you had 100% parents in office, who will stand up for those without dependents or are unmarried? Diversity is key
